Regarded as the first affordable car, I present the Ford Model T
Origin: The car that opened to the common middle -class American; some of this was because of Ford's efficient fabrication, including the assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting. More than 15 million Model Ts were built in Detroit and Highland park, Michigan, and automobile was also assembled in Manchester, England, and at plants in continental Europe
Purpose: Henry Ford made this car to help and make everyone be able to own a car. Using an assembly line instead of hand made, made it easier to mass produce cars. He wanted the car be strong enough to handle rough roads of America and powerful yet be light and big for a family to fit in it.
Value: It basically gave jobs to people, they started race clubs organized race which gave people more jobs, it increased the limit of technology. Model T describes the period of cars.
Limitations: It doesn't tell us how the people of the time reacted to the car, was it very successful or not. It doesn't tell how they were built
